I think many women can relate to this book and the mom and wife duties that take over our lives. Life happens and for poor charley and Garrett it takes something life changing to make them aware of how bad things really are. Which just goes to show, sometimes men are totally clueless.I wanted to learn more about this Peter character and his twisted little collection. Maybe that will come in another book later.
This book is a great weekend read and you won't be able to put it down as you enter Charley's mind and her feeling of unwanted and hopelessness. Reading this book made me realize that life is too short not to let everyone know everything you want them to and not just assume they know.

This book reads like a movie! The characters are well developed and relate-able, and the role social media plays in the story line is timely and relevant. I was immediately sucked in to the story, and found myself anxiously anticipating the turn of each page. We all know someone like "Charley" and the honesty in her portrayal makes her a likable heroine. Combs does an excellent job of creating an understanding of her characters and their motives. Her attention to detail makes the story readable and even believable! I thoroughly enjoyed The Point of No Return. It was a quick, exciting and suspenseful read. Bravo to J.D. Combs on her debut novel. I look forward to reading the sequel!

A mother of five wonders how her marriage got to the point it has. She pours her heart and soul into a journal trying to figure out how and if the marriage is salvageable and if she wants to save it.
There is a online predator that stalks women online. He is very good at seeking out venerable women and reeling them in and making them do things they normally would not do and once he has done that he adds them to his collection.
So many women who aren't getting the affection they think they need at home get wrapped up in a harmless flirtation online and think its is safe. The heroine even goes are far as to meet with him in person.
Does she fall for his smooth moves and will she finally see him for what he really is and realizes what she has at home is really worth fighting for? And once she makes that decision will fate throw her curve ball?
This book is a great read! I am truly not much of a reader but am so glad I decided to read this one! I actually found myself not wanting to put the book down which is a first for me. I think I finished it at 422 AM so it was a long day at work the next day!
The Point of No Return is a story of how we can all lose ourselves and our relationships in everyday life. It is a good reminder to not take anything for granted! Open your eyes, mind and heart to the love of your life and your family everyday!
The story is racy to the point it made me blush so much so I felt the need to look around me when I was reading it in public. It is funny and made me laugh aloud as well as talk aloud to warn Charley, the main character. Then I found myself emotional and crying.
I agree with Robynbrannon's review, I wanted more! I can't wait for the next one! When is it coming JD?
Well-written; timely story; interesting characters; perfect summer-time reading spiced up with a bit of sex. Author has great imagination & ability to make situations believable.

We're in a new genre of Romance Novels. Women will love this book! Men will be intrigued by it!
Wow,wow,WOW!!! The emotion I felt reading this book was a little overwhelming. I was able to relate to Charley as having been through the same type of situation. Many times during the book I almost wanted to put the book down because it was hitting to close to home but it kept drawing me back in.
I would have given it 5 stars but I felt the end was a little rushed. I would have liked to read a little more about Charley's recovery and how they stated working through their troubles. I can't wait to read the next book to see where Charley and Garrett end up.

I think the author did a great job of relating the sameness that can enter any marriage if it isn't tended to and nurtured.
There are a few chapters where- oh my,my- made me blush.
The only thing that kept it from 5 stars was I think the main character was a bit naive. At 42, I would hope she would be smart enough to listen to her inner voice, especially considering she has a teenage daughter. She fell into exactly about which she should be warning her daughter! Maybe 32 with a younger kids?
Over all a great storyline about marriage, social media and how it can be manipulated and create havoc among families. I would recommend!
I gave this book a 4 star due to the fact that it was a good book and I liked it. Some of the things in that story I can relate to and thats why Charley holds a special place.
Here we have a mother with 5 kids and a husband who is a doctor who no longer pays attention to his wife. As she continues to go onto her computer she ends up planning a trip to New Orleans. Meanwhile she gets a friend request from her highs school crush. She isn't sure if she should accept his request. He flirts with her and since she's not getting attention at home, she gets sucked in to Peters charms.
I don't was to spoil any of the book, so I will keep it at that. I will say, that some of the parts in the book seem to have gone on far to long that it was borderline, boring.
This is a good read, and I look forward to reading books from this author in the future.
